What’s going on everyone? Today, I will be reviewing Altos Los Hormigas Malbec 2018. I hold a WSET Level 1 Certification, and I simply love trying various wines and sharing my thoughts. Years ago, I began attending monthly wine tasting in Boston, MA with friends. This began my love for tasting great food paired with amazing wines! Every week, I share “M.A.I. M.A.I. First Impressions
This week, I'm so excited to share another marvelous bottle of wine. It is the Altos Las Hormigos 2018. This wine is fabulous! I felt like it was time to show the red wine some love because, we’re about to flow into autumn season. It’s a wonderful medium to full bodied wine. It’s dry with excellent balance on the tannins. This wine is meant to be sipped at 61 degrees F. It can also be enjoyed now or aged for 15 years! That’s incredible! This wine was simply perfection!
M.A.I. Wine Pairings
This wine would likely pair well with a pasta or a nice NY Strip Steak. I honestly think that this wine would also be a great with Indian food, and I can’t wait to try it with it really soon. However, this time around, I just paired the wine with a Netflix Series, “Indian Matchmaker.” It was the perfect pairing!
M.A.I. Final Score
As I close this week, when I received my WSET Level 1 Certification, in the summer of 2021, I knew that I wanted to try various wines and share my well-informed thoughts. Overall, I thought this was an outstanding wine, and I give it 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 (5 out 5 Wine Glasses). I highly recommend this wine for any time that you would like to entertain, and have a wonderful sip!
