Greetings and Good Monday Morning,
Today, I'm beaming with elation because, this past weekend I've announced the 3-Star Review that I received from Urban Reviews. I will also reveal the cover of my third book in The Purple Charm Series. I want to say that sometimes the journey to pursuing your passion is sometimes a challenging one. You will not always have the desired outcomes when you want them, but like God, it always show up on time. I'm proud of the trajectory of my #writerslife because, I know that the path that I'm on is going to lead to greater heights and opportunities. For now, I want to share with you a wonderful milestone of good news at this moment in time.

This weekend, I received the most wonderful news around my books. Approximately, 2 years ago, I submitted my first book, The Violet Rose to Urban Reviews for a book review. Well, this weekend I finally received a follow up regarding my book. The reviewer, Denise Ervin, gave my book a 3 out 5 Book Rating, and for some that would seem horrible, but I don't because, the review reads more like a 4 or 5 star review. Also, we have to "crawl before we walk", and this review is a blessing. It is so difficult to get a reader to feel inspired by your work to write a review, and a writer should consider it an honor to have a reader write a positive review that raves about your work! Moreover, with so many people willing to write a review for a fee, to have a review that is organic means the world to me! It is a legitimate review, and I'll take it! Honestly, I've learned so much since I wrote my first book, and now that I'm three books in, I just want to continue to create amazing books that readers love. I don't mind if they discover me by chance either. Also, I don't want to ever create "cookie cutter" books that people will expect the same outcomes from me, or compare them to other authors. I'm unique, and I want my books to reflect my uniqueness. We already have a Brenda Jackson, Beverly Jenkins, Sandra Kitt, Nora Roberts, Danielle Steele, and many others. Now, we have a Charmyra E. Fleming, and I'm nothing like those ladies or anyone else! One day, I will become a household name! No one will never be able to read a book from me and think that they all read the same way. No, although my books are part of a series, they can stand on their own. I'm so proud of these books, and I cannot wait to see where the future takes them.

The Cover Reveal of Book 3
The time has finally come to share the cover of my wonderful new book in The Purple Charm Series. Later this week, I will be showing off the glorious new gem of my series. This story was a joy to write, and I feel like this cover represents the depth of the main character in this story. One of the things that I will say about this story, is that it has layers, and I feel that this cover reflects that. It pulls you in, and I can't wait for readers to dive into this book.

I chose this quote because, when I think about the results of my review from Urban Reviews, I could be frustrated with it and myself for the book not getting a better rating. However, I'm not, because, it was a great, well written review, and although its 3 out of 5, I'm totally ok with that. My readers have given me 5 score ratings, and as long as I'm writing stories that they love that's all that matters. Getting a legitimate review from a reputable reviewer is just a bonus with icing on the cake for me. So, with that said, I'm thankful and grateful for each and every review that readers have given me because, they've pushed me to be a better writer. I want to encourage you to keep going, keep striving, and just remember that what seem to be a setback or a negative can be your blessing in disguise. It just depends on how you look at it. Take everything in stride, enjoy the journey and growth that you will experience, and stop from time to time to celebrate your accomplishments when they come...because, they definitely WILL come!
