Greetings and Good Monday Morning Everyone,
I have a simple message today. I listened to a video of Jay-Z this weekend that featured Will Smith where they were discussing the mentality one must have to be successful. Will Smith said in an interview with Tavis Smiley, "Make a choice, just decide what it's going to be, who you're going to be, and how you're going to do it, and then from that point the universe is going to get out of your way." I have to agree. When you focus your mind on what those three things, the universe will get out of your way. I've talked about this before. The universe will inevitably align with your mindset. I'm thinking about all of the things that I want to do in live, and the only way to accomplish these things is to keep my mind on the bigger picture. So what is it that you would like to do, what is it going to be, and how are you going to do it?
If you're going to do as Will Smith says, you have do be able to make good and sound decisions. You have to maintain a strong mindset to make the right choices in life. It's much deeper than making a choice. Does your choice make sense? What are the long-term effects of your decision-making? Where do you go from here once you've made that decision? I bring this up because, we're constantly growing and stretching as individuals, especially, if you're concerned with becoming a better person! People who are naturally driven to do what Will Smith is speaking about, understand and can easily relate to what he is saying. We make moves and decisions based on an desired outcome. We also, put action behind what want to happen. There is no such thing as talking, and not acting on what we said. People with a weak mindset and negative mindsets, are by virtue poor decision-makers. Don't let that kind of mentality deter and destroy what you want to do in life. If you haven't already thought about it, think about your plan, think about who and what you want to be or become, and how you're going to make those things a reality.
In closing, I leave you with a scripture to encourage you to maintain your focus. I want you to go after your dreams, and decide who you are and what you want the world see come from you. You can do it! If no one else has told you, I believe in you! We all go through trials and tribulations, and some of us have a harder time getting started, but we can get it done! We can succeed, if we put our minds to it. Focus on your goals, plan out your future, and make good and sound decisions! Have a beautiful day and an amazing week! Make moves and make it happen!
