☀️Greetings and Good Morning!
Happy Monday all!😃 I hope that you've had a wonderful weekend. I actually had a pretty quiet and relaxing weekend...the perfect environment to sit and think. So, to kick things off, I've been mulling over the thought of being "imaginative". By definition, it means having creativity or showing inventiveness. So, I hope that you'll indulge the idea for a few minutes because, I think that there's an underlying message for us all. So without further delay, let's dive right in!
"We can't take any credit for our talents. It's how we use them that counts." ~ Madeleine L'Engle
This week, I wanted to begin with this beautiful and thoughtful quote from the book, A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle because, it speaks to the thought of being imaginative. Our talents, whatever they may be gives us the permission to be creative, inventive and inspire the world around us. The "universe" is open to "hearing" our requests and responds as needed to help us along the way, but it is our "free will" to utilize these gifts, these talents, in a way that counts. That means to do it with openness and love. When we open our minds in this way, there is no limit to what we can do, what we can accomplish, and what we can change in this world. When I consider this concept, I'm reminded of the mind of a child. For instance, my son has a huge imagination, and he's creative, and inventive. We as adults, have to get back to having that type of mindset. We've forgotten how to have a childlike quality, and seeing unlimited possibilities. It's remembering not to take things too seriously, and it's being flexible. Maybe for you, being imaginative means to create an innovative product or service that fills a void in the market. Or, maybe it's finding a new way to teach our youth. At the end of the day, the point I'm trying to make is, whichever way you choose to use your creative talents is what's going to count. If subconsciously, we can imagine a life and a world with love and goodness in it, supported by our talents, the visualization of this manifestation is what the universe will align with our conscious reality. God is love, and love is the source to which we can imagine this world, and our talents and how we use them is how it comes to light. I know that this may be a concept that's hard to grasp for most, but, for me, I'm inspired to open my mind to be more imaginative and allow my talents and how I used them be ruled by love.
In closing, be imaginative and let your talents become the catalyst for how you make a difference. Be blessed today, go out and change the world!
Peace and Happy #MondayMotivation!
