Protect Your Energy and Keep Shining!

Greetings and Good Afternoon!

Happy Monday! I hope that you’re enjoying your Monday following the July 4th holiday. Many of you maybe still on vacation, and some of you may be back in the office. Whatever the case may be, I wanted to give you a little motivation to keep shining.

Now I know it’s been a while since my last, “Monday Motivation“ post, but hey, I’ve been legit busy. However, I’m realizing that my ability to true to “M.A.I.” purpose has suffered because, I’ve been away for so long. Not to fear! I will be kicking it back up in the weeks to come.

Today, I wanted to share a brief message today about protecting your energy, so that you can keep shining. Sometimes, protecting your energy has nothing to do with other people. Sometime, it has everything to do with you as a person. Maybe, you’re fighting your own negative thoughts about your own personal performance in life. You know, it’s totally ok, and it happens. When you’re performing at a high level, and your expectations for your own performance falls short, it’s easy to be hard on yourself! Many times, we can be just as hard on ourselves as our biggest critics, but it’s important to understand how it can affect our energy. If you’re not mindful and careful, having this mindset cause you to spiral into a world of darkness. Recently, I was feeling this way. I was stifling my own light from shining. I working hard and creating content, but started to feel like I was spinning my wheels. This gave me low drive and low energy, I didn’t feel very motivated or creative. I was becoming my own worst enemy; a threat to my energy and the shine of my light! I had to get it back, and to do so I hit the pause button!

If you’re ever in this situation, you can do what I did. First, take a moment to assess the problem. Realize that you’re the problem and/or your environment. No one else but you. You need to re-center because spiritually your off track, and this affects your balance everywhere. So, whether prayer or meditation is your preferred way to get in tune with your spiritual self, do so with the intention bringing your life back into balance with the clearing of your energy focusing on your light. Next, clear your space. This includes your home, care, and work spaces. Any place where you “dwell”. My friend gave me some sage, and although I’ve never used or needed sage before, I thought, “what the heck”, I’ll try it. Also, for me, breathing was a great help. I spent 10-15 minutes focusing on my breathing, in silence, and unplugged from everything. After a couple of days, I was able to get back to normal. This morning, I had my energy back. I know over the next couple of days, I have to drink plenty of water, continue to workout to keep my energy levels up, eat as healthy as possible, keep a positive mindset, and breathe when necessary.

So this week, I wish you well! Many joy and blessings to you, and continue in the ways of light and love!

Peace and have a blessed and wonderful #MondayMotivation!
