5 of "mai" favorite blog posts

Over the course of the past year, I've written some really awesome motivational blogs. A few of them really were emotional for me to write. Today, I thought I'd revisit a few and bring them back to the forefront for a little shine!

1. "Don't Lose Your Spark to Self-Doubt" (Posted, May 28, 2018)

This was one of my first posts, and my favorites because I was just getting started with my blog and as a writer. I literally was hit with the realization that I was a soon-to-be self-published author and entrepreneur, and it was scary. I was coming to grips with not having a steady 9-to-5, career, and stable income, and that made me anxious. So, this was a great post because, I used my experience at the time to encourage others to not allow self-doubt to affect their momentum and spark!

2. "Confidence in the Power of No" (Posted, June 11, 2018)

I love this post because, I'd just taken on one of my first clients ever through my graphic design projects. I had a very interesting client that I was working with at the time. It was difficult because, I wanted to help this client, but quickly became a problem. The client was becoming overbearing and I felt overwhelmed. So I eventually, came to the realization that I had to cut ties with them. For the reader, the takeaway from this post is that they, have the power to say, "no" to anything that doesn't align with their needs, and that's ok.

3. "Today is the day, Mai Book Drops (Posted, July 14, 2018)

This was probably one of the most exciting days of my life! It is the day that I officially dropped my first book, "The Violet Rose." I will never forget this day for as long as I live. I enjoyed being able to share with my readers, and beyond this exciting time in my new career as an indie-author. I will be equally as excited when I drop my second book later this year.

This post still hits home because, when I wrote it, it was following the unexpected hospitalization of my Mom. This was a deeply personal post for me, and I wrote it with the hopes of giving someone else inspiration to get through their adversity, as well. For the reader, I think that you'll find value you in the "5 Steps" that I give for maintaining your strength. All of these steps are what I used to maintain my sanity and stay strong for my family, and I hope that they can be of assistance to someone else.

5. "Are You Living Your Best Life?" (Posted, July 18, 2018)

I wrote this post because, "live your best life" was the "buzz-phrase" last year, and I thought it would be fun to really challenge that notion. In this post, I talked about living your best life as a "holistic" approach. What I mean by that is, thinking of your life in terms of it being, "life of spiritual balance, and an abundance of positive energy and love." I think for the reader, the takeaway here is that living your best life is not, a "catchphrase", but a lifestyle and this post tries to help you recognize this.

There you have it! Five of my favorite blog posts. I think that they each still have an element of relevancy. I hope that after a you read them, you'll agree with me. I will you well and through these posts, I've enjoyed giving you a reading that can motivate and inspire you! May you find continued joy and share these posts with your friends and family!
