Greetings and Good Morning! Happy Friday!
This morning for "Mai Reflective Friday", I want to reflect on the prompt "name what is enough for you". This is a prompt that we can all reflect on. When you, my friend, "my valued reader", consider "naming what is enough for you", what comes to mind? How does this make you feel? What kinds of emotions surfaces for you? Let me tell you, this is an interesting concept to mull over. I'll tell you what this prompt made me consider. In writing this post, I considered my boundaries, and began to identify redefine them within my space, and what I will and will not allow into my life. I thought about what is enough in my relationships, my work, my career, and what I can give of myself. So this week, rock out with me for a spell because, I want to share with you my reflection on "what is enough for me", and maybe this will inspire you to do the same.
Let's dive in! For starters, I think, when my I can no longer deal with the stress and strain of my day to day, that is "enough for me". My tolerance levels is very high, but, recently I've learned my where my limit is. So when I find my stress and strains reaching the point where, I've had "enough", I now know when to pull back. Knowing my pull back point, reset, and recenter is in sync with what is enough for me. I'm a person that tries to surround myself with positive vibes, and I will not allow a certain level of negativity into my life. I promise you it is a hard stop, and that is enough. I don't have to convince you of why this is enough. Just know that it is! Also, being able to find contentment with the simple things in life, is "enough for me". At the very core of being a human, being thankful and grateful are the gratifying gifts of the simple things in life. This is why it is enough for me, and there is no need for anything else. Finally, hearing that I'm enough, that I am worth the time to be spent with, and that I'm a good person, that is, "enough for me". I believe, for me, being faced with the things that's enough for me doesn't have to be something that's drawn out and extensive. To be honest, it's very simple. I think in most instances, we, as individuals, are always chasing after more, but never really consider, "what is enough" for us, or when it is "enough". Sometimes it takes our consideration to "name what is enough for you", so that we can set the boundaries of what is enough.
"Name what is enough for you". Consider it and discuss it. Maybe we can dive deeper into this thought. I hope that you've enjoyed "Mai Reflective Friday" blog post today. I wish you well, and have a wonderful weekend!
Peace and Happy #ReflectiveFriday!
